Training Package of Materials for the Course Food and Nutrition Surveillance and Emergency

The powerpoints in this training course provides an understanding of the nutritional outcomes of emergencies (malnutrition, mortality and morbidity) and also the causes of malnutrition and mortality in emergencies (the process and dynamics of an emergency). Unit II (Sessions 7-14) covers assessment and analysis of nutritional problems in emergencies with a view to guiding an appropriate humanitarian response.
