Renewed Effort Against Child Hunger and Undernutrition (REACH)

Renewed Effort Against Child Hunger and Undernutrition, REACH brings together five UN agencies: FAO, WHO, UNICEF, WFP and IFAD. It is a global partnership committed to meeting the nutrition needs of the world’s most vulnerable children and women, through in-depth analysis of the nutrition situation and innovative programming that builds government institutional capacity, strengthens policy planning skills and prioritizes scarce resources. REACH produces country updates and builds capacities on nutrition. REACH operates at country level, currently in 12 countries, as a facilitating mechanism in the coordination of UN and other partners support to national nutrition scale-up plans. The REACH actions contribute to the Scaling-up Nutrition (SUN) movement.
